1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of NowNextLater, including the mobile application, website and related services.

NowNextLater is operated by:

By creating an account or using NowNextLater, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Nothing in these Terms affects any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

2. Who may use NowNextLater

NowNextLater is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

You must provide accurate account information and must be legally capable of entering into an agreement.

NowNextLater is designed to support planning and productivity, including for people who experience ADHD-related difficulties. It is not a medical device or healthcare service.

3. Your account

You may sign in using Google, Apple or another supported sign-in method.

You are responsible for:

Keeping access to your sign-in account and device secure

Activity carried out through your NowNextLater account

Informing us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission

You must not create accounts using another person’s identity or attempt to gain access to another user’s account.

You can delete your account through:

Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account

Deleting your NowNextLater account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

4. The service

NowNextLater provides planning and productivity features that may include:

NOW, NEXT and LATER task organisation

Task and subtask management

Energy-aware task suggestions

Smart NOW

Nudge AI

Just 10 and focus timers

Reminders and recurring tasks

Calendar integrations

Cloud synchronisation

Personalisation and progress features

Features may differ depending on your device, operating system, subscription status, location or app version.

We may improve, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We will try to avoid materially reducing paid functionality during an active subscription period unless the change is required for security, legal compliance, technical reliability or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Free access and subscriptions

Seven-day free access

NowNextLater may provide eligible new users with seven days of free access to Pro functionality.

For the current app-managed free-access period:

No payment details are required to begin

It does not automatically become a paid subscription

You will not be charged automatically when it ends

After it ends, some functionality may become read-only or unavailable until a subscription is purchased

Existing tasks will remain available to view, subject to continued account availability

Eligibility may be limited to one free-access period per person or account.

Paid subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Before purchasing, the app will display the available:

Subscription duration

Localised price

Billing frequency

Included features

Renewal terms

Subscriptions normally renew automatically through your app-store account unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

The exact price and renewal date shown by Apple or Google at checkout will apply to your purchase.

Cancellation

You can manage or cancel your subscription through:

Google Play subscription settings on Android

The Manage subscription option in NowNextLater, where available

Cancellation normally stops future renewals. Access usually continues until the end of the period already paid for, subject to the app store’s rules and applicable law.

Uninstalling the app, disconnecting a calendar or deleting your NowNextLater account does not by itself cancel an app-store subscription.

Refunds

Payments, cancellations and refunds are administered by the store through which the purchase was made.

Refund eligibility is determined by Apple, Google and applicable consumer law. Contact the relevant store if you wish to request a refund.

Future store-managed trials

If NowNextLater later introduces an Apple- or Google-managed trial that automatically converts into a paid subscription, the purchase screen will clearly show:

The trial duration

The price charged after the trial

The billing frequency

That the subscription renews automatically

How to cancel before being charged

These Terms should be updated when that change goes live.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, messages and other content you create.

You give us a limited permission to host, transmit, process and display that content only as reasonably necessary to:

Provide the service

Synchronise your account

Generate requested Nudge responses

Operate integrations selected by you

Maintain security and resolve technical issues

This permission ends when the relevant content or your account is deleted, except where limited retention is legally required or technically necessary for backups, security or fraud prevention.

You must not submit content that:

Is illegal

Infringes another person’s rights

Contains malicious code

Is intended to harm, threaten or impersonate another person

Attempts to misuse or manipulate the service

7. Nudge and artificial intelligence

Nudge uses artificial intelligence to provide planning assistance, task suggestions and motivational support.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for your circumstances. You should review suggestions before acting on them.

Nudge does not provide:

Medical or mental-health diagnosis

Emergency or crisis support

Legal advice

Financial advice

Professional clinical treatment

Do not rely solely on Nudge for important medical, legal, financial, employment or safety decisions.

Where Nudge proposes an action within the app, you remain responsible for reviewing and confirming that action.

8. Calendar and third-party integrations

You may choose to connect services such as Google Calendar.

NowNextLater accesses those services only after you authorise the relevant permissions. You can disconnect supported integrations through Settings.

When using a third-party service, that provider’s own terms and privacy policy also apply.

We are not responsible for outages, changes, access restrictions or errors caused by Google, Apple, OpenAI, RevenueCat or another independent service provider, although we will take reasonable steps to maintain our integrations.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

Use NowNextLater for unlawful purposes

Attempt to bypass subscription or access controls

Probe, scan or test the service for vulnerabilities without written permission

Introduce malware or harmful code

Overload, disrupt or interfere with the service

Scrape or extract data through unauthorised automated means

Reverse-engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it

Use Nudge to generate abusive, fraudulent or illegal material

Attempt to obtain another user’s content or credentials

We may apply reasonable usage limits to AI and other resource-intensive features to protect availability and prevent abuse.

10. Intellectual property

NowNextLater, including its branding, interface, software, graphics, text and original content, belongs to us or our licensors.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose.

This does not transfer ownership of NowNextLater or permit you to copy, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the service.

11. Availability, maintenance and backups

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of:

Maintenance

Updates

Security work

Network or provider outages

Events outside our reasonable control

Although NowNextLater includes local storage and cloud synchronisation, you should not use it as the only record of information that would cause serious harm if lost.

Report suspected data-loss or synchronisation problems promptly to support@nownextlater.net.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using NowNextLater at any time.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because:

These Terms have been seriously or repeatedly breached

The account presents a security or fraud risk

The service is being used unlawfully

We are required to do so by law

Continued access could harm other users or the service

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary for security, legal compliance or prevention of harm.

Suspension or account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google.

13. Consumer rights and disclaimers

NowNextLater is provided with reasonable care and skill.

We do not guarantee that:

Every feature will always be available

AI suggestions will always be correct

The app will meet every user’s personal requirements

Third-party integrations will remain continuously available

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded

Any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit

14. Limitation of liability

Subject to the protections above, we are not responsible for losses that:

Were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms

Result from your misuse of the service

Result from relying on AI output without appropriate review

Are caused solely by an independent third-party service

Relate to business or commercial use where NowNextLater was provided as a consumer service

Where permitted by law, our total liability relating to a paid subscription will not exceed the greater of:

The amount you paid for NowNextLater during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or

£100

This limit does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

Our handling of personal information is explained in the NowNextLater Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect:

New or changed features

Legal or regulatory requirements

Security or technical changes

Changes to service providers

Clarifications to existing wording

We will update the “Last updated” date.

For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, website or email where appropriate.

Changes will apply from the stated effective date. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the service and cancel any future subscription renewal.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from using any court, regulator, alternative dispute-resolution service or consumer remedy available under applicable law.

18. App-store terms

When NowNextLater is downloaded or purchased through Apple or Google, the relevant app store’s terms also apply.

Apple and Google are not responsible for providing NowNextLater’s customer support, except where their own terms or applicable law say otherwise.

Where app-store rules govern billing, cancellation or refunds, those rules will apply alongside these Terms.
